Application Requirement
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport, under the age of 25 and in good physical and mental health, who are equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma or above.
Applicants who emmigrate from the Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan district and have acquired foreign nationality, or applicants whose parents are both Chinese citizens but have settled abroadtoenable the applicants to acquire foreign nationality at birth, must meet the requirements of Document No. 12 [2020] by the Ministry of Education of China.
Applicants should have excellent academic performance at the stage of high school study, and meet the requirements of the applied majors.
Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide guardian guarantee.If the applicant's parents are not in China, the guardian shall be a foreigner or a Chinese who is entrusted by the parents and residing in China.
*For scholarship-supported applicants and self-financed applicants, see the following as for specific requirements:
1. Chinese Government Scholarship
(1) The application should be approved and accepted by related reviewing institutions, such as the applicant’s dispatching institution of his/her own country, Chinese embassies /consulates abroad.
(2) Applicantshave not received any other scholarship from the Chinese government or any other organization.
2. Shanghai Government Scholarship
(1) Applicants should achieve excellent academic record, and have passed HSK4 or above for programs taught in Chinese and reached the language level required by the host institution for the applied program.
(2) Applicantshave not received any other scholarship from the Chinese government or any other organization.
3. Self-financed
Applicants should achieve excellent academic record, and have passed HSK4 or above for programs taught in Chinese and reached the language level required by the host institution for the applied program.

High School Graduation Certificate
A scanned copy of the original certificate, if not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or English is required. Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation. The expected time to obtain the degree certificate should be earlier than August 31, 2022 and the graduation certificate must be submitted when registering;
Complete High School Transcript
Must be in Chinese or English, and notarized Chinese or English translations are required for other languages;
Language Proficiency Certificate
For Chinese-taught programs: copy of the effective (within 2yrs) HSK certificate. For English taught courses: IELTS (6.0 or above) / TOFEL (80 or above)/Cambridge English (B2 or above) certificate;
(5) Letter of Self-statement (500-800 words, applicants of Chinese-taught programs should be written in Chinese);
(6) Photocopy of Passport (including personal information page and Chinese visa pages);
(7) Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old.
*Supplement of scholarship application materials:
Effective (within 6 months) Health Certificate
Physical examination report must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and provide the detailed blood test report. Incomplete forms or forms without the applicants' photograph, a sealed photograph of the applicant, the official stamp of the hospital, or signature of physician are considered as invalid;
Non-criminal Certificate (notarized photocopy in English or Chinese).

Log onto SUIBE International Student Online Application Website: /sis/2020/0628/c17133a135339/page.htm to download and fill in the application form, and then email the application form to apply@suibe.edu.cn.
* Scholarship applicants should also register and submit the application form on scholarship websites.
2. Participate in the interview
After receiving the interview notice, please attend the interview on time. The specific interview time is subject to our email notification. Please make sure that the email address you provided in your application is valid and reachable.
3. Track your application status online
Pay attention to your email to check your application status.
Admission and university enrollment
You will receive SUIBE’s admission letter if your application is accepted. Admitted students must register on the mentioned date stated in the admission letter and bring the original graduation certificate to be checked. You will fail to be enrolled without providing the relevant certificates.

2. Admission criteria
With basic application materials qualified to the requirements, admittees will be selected if their application materials can demonstrate their excellent high-school performance, and/or their performance in the required interviews excels.
Chinese or English proficiency (relevant score certificates are required) is also an important aspect for consideration.
3. On receiveing the admission notification, to be enrolled successfully, you will need to (special arrangements will be made and notified otherwise where it’s necessary):
(1) print and bring all the basic application materials you have submitted on line for validation on site when you come to the univeristy to get enrolled;
(2) sit for entrance examination or undergo assessment where they are applicable, and you need to pass the exams or assessments.
