On March 26, SUIBE kicked off the second-round exams of the 2022 postgraduate admissions, which was joined remotely by 363 first-choice candidates, as well as more than 100 examiners, assistants, support personnel and supervisors of SUIBE.
The second-round exams were conducted when Shanghai was going through citywide nucleic acid testing and the SUIBE campus under quasi-closed management. To ensure safety, candidates were required to complete the exams online. Their facial and identity information, as well as their registration, educational background, demographic and credit information were strictly verified before the exams. The order of candidates, the composition of advisor groups and the questions of the exams were all randomly decided.
Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE Yin Yao, SUIBE president Wang Rongming, Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE and Chairman of Discipline Inspection Commission Xu Mei, SUIBE vice president Wu Zhong gave on-site guidance, and heads of relevant functional departments such as the Graduate School, Logistics General Management Office, Information Technology Center, and Security Office also made coordination efforts to ensure the success of the exams.
SUIBE will comprehensively coordinate the pandemic prevention and control with subsequent postgraduate entrance exams according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipal Educational Examinations Authority, so as to hold the exams in a stable, fair, and science-based manner.
